There is a statue to Lenin in Hanoi. It is located in a triangle-shaped playground on Duong Dien Bien Phu Street, overlooking the Army Museum. I visited this larger-than life statue when documenting the sights in Hanoi for AsiaExplorers. Most of the Vietnamese people in the park appeared to ignore the statue, as I made my way to its front and set up my tripod to photograph it.
The Lenin statue is probably one of the world's last reminders of the Russian revolution, which today has been erased from Russia itself.

How to go to the statue of Lenin
Using the Ho Hoan Kiem as the starting point, walk west along Hang Khay. It becomes Trang Thi. Eventually you reach a split; the right branch is Dien Bien Phu Street. Take that street, crossing the railway track and continuing on until you see the Army Museum on your right, and the triangular park on your left. The Lenin statue is quite visible on the park.
